Meet Church!
For those who have yet to meet him, we want to introduce you to Church, the newest member of the Andes-Straley family.
Church
On January 28th, a black German Shepard mixed dog named Church, fell victim to a horrific animal abuse crime. According to authorities in Sullivan County, the dog was dragged behind a white sedan in the parking lot of Gospel Misson Church late at night. Authorities are looking for any information that may lead to the arrest of these individuals. The suspects will be charged with aggravated animal cruelty, which is a Class E felony. If you have any information pertaining to this case, please call the sheriff’s office at (423) 279-7330.
Since the incident, Church has been resting and recuperating at our very own Andes Straley Veterinary Hospital. Shortly after his arrival we quickly noticed his love and affection for our staff, despite the terrible things that happened to him. Anytime anyone walks in to see him, he immediately starts wagging his cute little tail. He has been in good spirits, eating well, and snuggling as much as he possibly can. We are so thankful to be caring for him.
We want to extend a big thank you to our community who has shown nothing but an outpouring of love and support for Church. As a result of your generous support, we have continued to raise money to care for Church’s medical needs. We’ve had so many people ask how and where they can donate so we have provided instructions below!
Please call (423) 378-4443 to make a donation over the phone. We are also accepting cash or check donations at the office or you can mail a donation to the office: 3407 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664. Please write Church on the memo line so we know to put it towards his expenses. THANK YOU!
